UConn Fellowship Blog Part 4


After six months of traveling to UConn's Dodd Center to research children's literature in the Northeast Children's Literature Collection, here is my final blog post, an examination of Natalie Babbitt's masterwork Tuck Everlasting, and some final reflections.

Who Needs Green Grass?

I'd been thinking about this topic for a long time - at least since I had my own home - how it pains me to take care of the yard, and especially mowing, and watering, and fertilizing, and thinking about the lawn. It's just excessive... Is it not?

Anyway, this op-ed on the subject is running in the Courant tomorrow.
