Reactions to hornet, wasp, or bee stings

This is more of a public service announcement than anything else. Exactly what constitutes an allergy from a normal reaction to a bee or hornet sting?

After my second sting of the season - it's only mid-June - and with a swollen lower leg, I was curious.

I found this online and it was helpful, from North Carolina State University. Swelling and itchiness the day after is normal.

Who Needs Green Grass?

I'd been thinking about this topic for a long time - at least since I had my own home - how it pains me to take care of the yard, and especially mowing, and watering, and fertilizing, and thinking about the lawn. It's just excessive... Is it not?

Anyway, this op-ed on the subject is running in the Courant tomorrow.

Why I Love Fenway Park

I am clearly oversimplifying this, but I'm watching the Sox play tonight and a batter sliced a ball, foul, into the right field box seats, and there, among the fans battling for it on this cool April night were a guy still wearing his suit, a priest, and a dude wearing a Mark Bellhorn jersey.

None of them came up with the ball, but where else would you be able to find this combination of people coexisting?
